Full Moon

Here is a photo of tonight's full moon rising above the Warrenton Hall neighborhood. I had hoped to see the lunar eclipse tonight, but the sky was too cloudly.

President's Day

Today is President's Day, a holiday for some of us,
and what better way to celebrate but to pay a visit to where it all started, Williamsburg, VA. A cloudy, rainy morning gave way to a beautiful sunny and warm afternoon.

Winter Blooms

In our front yard we have a Quince that blooms every winter. It is a bit odd to see the pink flowers in the midst of everything around it being dull and brown, but it is also a pleasant reminder that spring is hopefully not too far away.

Sunset at Bubba's

Bubba's Marina has the best crabcakes in town! Plus, if you're timing is right, you'll get a beautiful sunset for dessert!

Early Morning

This morning when I took the dogs out, the moon was still up. While it was really cool looking, something the camera couldn't catch was the birds singing the sun up.
