Awesome Sky
After catching the photos on the previous post I was heading home and all around me the sky seemed to be lighting up in reds, oranges, pinks and purples. Unfortunately I was in traffic and there was no way to stop and get some pictures. As well, there were just too many power lines, telephone poles, etc. in the way. Then I turned off of Volvo Parkway into my neighborhood and was just totally taken back by the breathtaking colors of the sky. Finally, with no traffic, I was able to stop the car and catch these shots. Other than cropping for size, they are completely untouched. No need for Photo Shop on these! God is good!
Approaching Storm
A big storm blew through town last night and I caught these pictures on my way home from work. Unfortunately the pictures do not do justice to the magnificence of the sky. It was really quite amazing.

The Lights of New Year's Eve
New Year's Eve we took our nieces and ventured over to the Norfolk Botanical Gardens for the "Garden of Lights". I was quite surprised to find some very cool lighted displays. Unfortunately you could not get out of the car so these photos were shot through the sunroof and are a bit shaky.
