Comet Search

I went looking for the Pan-STARRS Comet on Thursday evening from the top of the SNJB, but alas, could not find it.  I should have been able to see it shortly after sunset, but an hour after sunset I still couldn't see it, and it was getting too darn windy and cold!  Here are a few photos I took while waiting.

Red Sky at Night

The other night I was watching the news when they showed the sunset, with a beautiful red sky and a bright orangish/red ball about to drop below the horizon.  I ran upstairs to get my camera and then out to the street to catch this photo.  I love all the trees in the neighborhood, but it sure is hard to get a sunset pic!  But you can at least how red the sky was!
