Full Moon

Last night's full moon was pretty cool. Here are a couple of photos from our back deck. There is quite a bit of 'light pollution" in our neighborhood so I think the black & white photo comes out a little better.

This morning the moon was still up, so it was a race down the interstate to get to work and try to get a couple of pics before it disappeared. The view of the moon setting over the giant fuel tanks in South Norfolk was just fantastic. But it probably wouldn't have been a good idea to stop the car in the middle of I-664!
